Dr. Alex McFarland is the President of Southern Evangelical Seminary. Previously, he served as Focus on the Family’s Director of Teen Apologetics. He has been interviewed by Billy Graham’s Decision radio broadcast, James Dobson (Focus On The Family radio), The New York Times, The Washington Post, Chuck Colson’s Breakpoint broadcast, Christianity Today, Charisma and by many other media outlets as well. He has spoken throughout the U.S. and internationally, hosts a syndicated radio program, and is a monthly columnist for Plugged In magazine.

Alex McFarland earned an M.A. in Christian Thought / Apologetics from the Liberty University Graduate School of Religion, Lynchburg, VA (In response to the rising influence of Eastern “thought” in America and the West, Alex wrote his master’s thesis on, “An Examination of the Pantheistic Monism of Shankara and Rhadakrishnan. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Southern Evangelical Seminary and the Veritas Graduate School of Apologetics.
